A gentle whisper in your hands,
Sh... Time lingers; still and hushed,
Just...quiet.
Thoughts appear in the silence,
Begging, begging...
Another breath,
Barely heard above it all...
A stolen glance,
So many words...
Tempted to run....
Away!
Away!
But will they reach their destination?
No.
They remain only here,
Inside this agonized, spinning mind,
So sick with confusion; so ill by a fantasy...
Over and over,
It burns in my chest...
What are we?
What are we?

Or do we even know ourselves?

Silenced by a soft indulgence,
Tender and fleeting...
And again,
Again...
Amazement.
Longing.
Wholeness.

Are we still captured by the fear of revealing?

Night deepens and conceals the questions,
So many,
Oh, so many...
Unanswered.
But will they stay?

Still so quiet,
They dare to gaze...
In wonder,
Awe.
Our oceans meet...
So similar,
Familiar,
Beautiful.

Softly shining against the glow of moonlight...
Waiting.

A melody drifts,
So close...
Gentle,
So...
Caring.

Subtle sweetness brushes my lips,
Stained with violet,
I faintly hear the song once more...
Wanting to never forget,
To cherish every word...

Holding on...
Breathing in...
Letting go...

I open the door,
Hoping I've somehow now unlocked your heart.

But i liked some of your other poems! I have one as a favorite...even though it doesnt show up...And thanks! :D now that i commented on all your poems, could you comment on mine pleeease? :) You dont have to bother with the haikus, unless you want to...and lol yes it is wonderful. Even tho this poem isnt a favorite of mine, you reallyy do have talent!

You have talent, you really do. A unique type of poetry-writing talent, since i haven't seen anybody else write quite like this. (But thats a good thing :) ) hmm...this poem is very.. "lavender bliss"ful, but it's not my favorite out of all of yours. still, 4/5 :)
