my slender tongue

(lusty pollen collecting on my lips
sucking petals, pollinating
in the morning
I’ll pack my suitcase
with potting soil
place garden
snakes
into housecoat pockets.
say I’m leaving you.
I’m taking root.
You’ll find me intertwined
with ivy in flower beds
hair tanged in
the monkey grass.
