The birds of love
Blackbirds fly & Blackbirds sore
Their lonely hearts
Calling out
Evermore
While some are like doves
Flying with love
Others cry out in pain
Expecting to be answered in vain
Some are full of happiness
Others full of sorrow
Some look on with eagerness
Others look back, turning from tomorrow
The raven is a cruel and mocking love
The night n gale a sweet and saddened love
The turtle dove a pure and divine love
One may ask the bird of my love
I say I know not
But when you ask
None other than, the turtle dove
