Propaganda
We live in this world of blind hate,
filled with mirrors, no true image,
Just the deceitful reflection of what we want to see.
A recollection of time, how its changed from the past,
Empty words, Unintended promises, Unfulfilled dreams.
The past is a reflection of our future, like a face in water.
One ripple threatening to break the perfection that is ignorance.
Smooth once again, the waters edge reflects the million untold lies on your lips, all the words left unsaid, a different age, a different time.
Crystal blue waters blind the innocent eyes, ignorant from the hurt felt world around them. Eyes wise beyond their years, blind, yet you've seen so much more than the reflected lies indoctrinating my world.
