You and me,
Girl and boy,
Friends but nothing more.
Just friends is all I hoped for.
But I got more than that.
I got a friend I can’t forget,
A friend I won’t forget,
A friend anyone would ask for.
Once you have a friend like this,
You can never go and turn back,
If you go and play these friendship memories back,
Everyone’ll think we’re crazy.
But all that matters is,
You and me,
Girl and boy,
Friends and nothing more.
