Fine thread and fine needle
weaving incessantly
back and forth, back and forth.
When the quilter has rested,
put the needle away,
the stitching is finished,
to be continued another day.
For now the sun is setting,
setting flames upon the quilt.
Harmony being weaved,
the world being built.

The author's comments:
I've always thought that God as a quilter creating this crazy quilt of a world was such a beautiful image and had to put it on paper.

The last few lines are my favorite...this one's got excellent flowiness and the simple word choice makes it all the better. This is one of my favorites.
