Favorite Quote:
Don't let someone be a priority in your life if your just an option in theirs.

My eyes
And the space between me and blue skies
Stop taking control of what’s mine
My freedom
My two legs running from the master that stole them
And you wonder why I don’t talk
You stole my lips!!
The voice that use to be mine is once gone
Shriveled and turned into something bitter
And my hands have every right to throw in the towel
Let me out man let me breathe
This is my freedom you taken from me
What’s mine..
Yes I’m talking to you
Come back here with my pride and joy
As if you needed it as bad as me
Let me have my laugh back
And not these tears you call joy blockers
I’m done using em’ you can have em’ now give me back my laugh
My freedom
Because if I don’t have my freedom
My mind only leaves you with curiosity and remorse
You give me no choice but to take what’s mine!!
I want my teenage life, my freedom, and my knowledge
I want the 5 weeks of heartbreak I was promised
And I want the knowledge of knowing how to handle myself
In this bad world you call life
I WANT MY FREEDOM
Just like you wanted yours at my age
When you got it taken away and felt like you had nothing left
I WANT MY FREEDOM
WHATS MINE
AND ALL 67 YEARS OF MY LIFE
My eyes
And the space between me and blue skies
Stop taking control of what’s mine

I was frustrated when I wrote this poem. It was created to express my desire for freedom. I wanted to be free to express myself and I wasn't able to.
