It's Freeing to be Free
When I am feeling alone, I prefer to wallow in my pain. I don't know why. I sometimes cry because I'm not like someone else. I have pain like everyone else. Then I remember something that I sometimes forget: I can go to God and not regret it.
I do, and I feel lighter and free. No, not like the child I used to be. I don't run carefree, but I trust the one who loves me. Jesus, Jesus, to say the name is freeing in itself. Try it sometime. You won't regret. It's freeing to be free.
