I’m so scared to tell you.
I’m afraid of rejection and getting my heart broken again.
You understand I’m healing.

And you’re waiting, waiting for the day I come running into your arms.
You were always my shield, a sense of protection.
The “Blows” didn’t affect me when I was around you.

I was finally ready to take that leap,
Then I saw you flirting with her.

I said to myself, “Give it time.”
But truthfully time will never help me get over this.
