no one cares
to love anymore
with their whole hearts
about people who need it the most.
don’t just look,
actually see.
while you’re driving
your SUV
maybe look out
on the streets,
you’ll see kids dying
for something to eat.
I hate the way
money has become
the main priority
over health
and even family.
you’ll see young girls dying
to be on TV
willing to take diet pills
and even get surgery.
and lately the way
parents equal enemies
making kids feel like
it could be World War Three.
but no one’s there
nor do they care
because they’re all “too damn busy”.
look around you—
this is the place we live in.
living in this society
is making me believe
that everyone in this world
is going completely crazy.
