The dream begins, most of the time, with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you onto the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called truth. -Dan Rather

A teardrop of sweetness.
The strawberry is glistening like a sunrise in the morning.
Millions of bright yellow seeds look like falling stars at the stroke of midnight.
A sharp blade is piercing into the heart of the strawberry.
The dripping juices flows on my fingers.
A unique touch to the hand.
A feeling of a snake’s body slithering into the palms of a hand.
The mist of sweetness hypnotizes the senses.
The aroma is like a breeze on a hot summer day.
Fresh-Peaceful air.
Closer, close to the amazing sensation running through my taste buds.
Chomp, swallow, umm so good.

Here is a strawberry poem that I wrote before deciding to photograph it. It's my first attempt at writing about fruit.
