Daddy cried
But why?
No one's hurt.
No one's dying.
So why would Daddy be crying?
Brother's silent.
But he's never silent.
Ever.
You've known him all your life.
So why now?
Mommy cries.
Just like Daddy cries.
Tears of joy.
Mommy always cries though.
She's emotional.
The church bells ring
And her heart sings
With melody of her new life.
Today she's going to be,
Some lucky man's wife.
