I Wish I Was Her

I want to be her
My reflection in the distance
I want to be her
The girl with all she wanted
I've never been perfect
I've cried several times
My parents look at me
And tell me all lies
I can't seem to get in rhythm
Because I'm offbeat
I've tried so much to impress her
But its too much of a feat
So I stand here now
Wishing I was her
The one with all the answers
The one that has the cure
In a perfect world
Where issues solved themselves
I'd still be here saying
I wish I was her
