Fire In Me
You keep me here
Behind these bars.
You lock me in,
You say you protect.
But really
You deprive.
Do you know the
Definition of freedom?
Of free will?
You have no idea
How frail these walls are,
Though.
These irons bars,
These steel chains,
Can be broken with enough
Reckless skill.
You have no idea
How much rebellion
Can occur,
How much of a rebel I can
Become.
You have no idea
The effects of your
Bars, and walls.
You have no idea
The fire you’ve ignited
In me.
And with every
Limitation
You only make it
Grow.
