Summer Desire
I look at the orange
Cut up in my hand
My shoes are now off
My skin is now tanned
My hair is run wild
My sleeves reveal skin
I breather in the air
Where has summer been?
For the orange is the sun
Warming my life
Melting the anger
Melting the strife
The burning desire
For summer has been
Way deep and under
Hidden within
But this orange is proof
Or should I say sun
That what I am missing
Is mere summer fun
