Do as you wish
Look as you will
For you are free

Free from burden
Free from worry
Free from judgment

So free that this newfound freedom
Soon becomes nothing at all
Nothing is absolute
Nothing is perfect
Nothing is exhilarating

Become one with Nothing
Embrace Nothing
Love Nothing

Trapped with nobody but Nothing
Makes you want another
Isolation with Nothing
Creates a lust for Something

Something to rescue you
Something to envelop you
Something to distract you from Nothing

Do not fret
For Something is on his way
To snatch you away from Nothing

Something is a refreshing change
From Nothing
But Something soon becomes tedious
Something vexes you
Something is intolerable
You miss Nothing's company

The author's comments:
Sometimes the holidays can be a little too long and school starts to sound fun. I get all excited about going back to school just to realize why I was so pumped for summer in the first place. We always want what we can't have, right?
