Wonders of Blue
Blue is the the winds' floating whispers,
It is the song played each night for the moon,
Like a lullaby played by the rain,
A stream gurgling along repeating its path,
Blue is the emotion of a lost crying child,
Blue reminds me of the sky we look up to,
It is the robin's egg just waiting to be free,
Blue it the morpho butterfly fluttering about,
The dolphins diving in and out of the ocean,
Blue reminds me of a newly planted morning glory flaunting its colors,
Like raindrops falling on my face while I dance along side,
Blue reminds me of the trickling water falling repeatedly to a puddle,
Blue is a wondrous blue.
