No Substitute
Blue eyed blonde, although he swears his hair is brown
And my happiness rides on when he comes around
The critics will always say we aren't old enough
But those who have been there just don't argue love
I'm impatient, stubborn, always wanting to go
He's patient, honest, blissfully slow
Forever he's telling me not to over-analyze
Because he's truly not one of those guys
I won't have my heart burned at the stake
And I'll never forget parking down by that lake
I've never seen anyone so sincere
And when he asks me why, that's why I'm here
I can't forget or replicate perfection
He's got my heart from every direction
