the rain

It gently rolls down my cheek leaving a trail of fire.
The sent earth surrounds me.
Goosebumps rise all over my body.
Yet I feel like warm muffins straight from the oven.
I twirl in circles because my heart is content.
My mind puzzles over why people hate it so much,
how could they hate something so beautiful and quiet. Since it is here I might as well enjoy it while it is.
I love the rain.
