Hope comes sweeping in through the gate,
of a great kingdom so mangled
for her weary head to rest, before it's too late

Hope is a curious creature
The grace of angels, but also,
the perplexing body of a woman with sensual features
with unknown fates, leaving you in limbo

A limbo that is greater than the two evils
She inspires in you, the confidence to carry on
But sweeps the rug from under your feet, in great upheaval
and picks the flesh from the fresh carrion

Should you refrain from the risk of it all?
Or jump on the ship of her future and sail?
Choosing between the two darkened paths, trying not to fall
into the fiery pit of misfortune
