Scars & Shooting Stars
Tattoo Your Lies
Unto My Heart.
Undo My Scars
With Your Charm.
Patch Up My Past
With Your Eyes.
Posses My Heart
With Your Mind.
Eyes Only Seek
Of Lost Stars.
Trapped
In This Land
This Land
Of Broken Hearts.
Although, The Stars
Are Always Bright,
I've Got Every Reason
To Be Afraid Of The Dark.
Because Beautiful Dreams,
Turn To Nightmares
With You In My Arms.
Life In The Beginning,
My Head Was
High In The Clouds.
Only A Part Of Me Stare,
With My Eyes On The Ground.
But Reality Spoke Of A Princess,
And This Princesses Heart
Spoke Of A Pact.
Little Did I Know,
Her Heart Was Not Intact.
So I Grabbed My Needles,
Grabbed My Thread..
And Took The Time,
To Sew Her Back
Back Together Again.
So Nights Went By.
And So She Fell In Love
With A Prince.
Truly HE Was A Peasant,
He Was Nothing Close
To Perfectness.
So The Peasant
Brought His Princess
To The Sky Of Scars.
And As She Stared Into His Eyes,
She Saw A Lonely Broken Heart.
So As They Gazed At The Sky,
He Told Her
A Once Apon A Time..
Of A Young Peasant
In His Prime.
Long On A Journey,
Searching
Searching
For Shooting Stars.
Shooting Stars
Lost In The Dark.
When He Found His First,
It Burned A Beautiful Red.
He Followed It For Years.
Eventually The Star Bled.
Slowly Fading It Bled.
As He Lyed There Crying,
He Learned What It Was Like,
To Be Dead Before Dying.
In The End,
Hollowed And Alone,
This Mistake
Was His Own.
She Left Him.
Cold.
Broken.
Lost Words.
Forever Unspoken.
And Maybe
It'd Be Possible
To Heal This Dead Mute,
If Only
If Only,
Her Last Words
Were
"I Love You..."
She Tattooed Her Lies
Unto His Heart.
Undid His Scars
With Her Charm.
Possessed His Heart
With Her Mind.
His Eyes Only Sought
Of Lost Stars.
Trapped, Left To Die.
In This Land,
This Land Of Broken Hearts.
This Twas A Story
Of A Peasant,
Who Became Afraid
Of The Dark.
If Only,
If Only,
Shooting Stars
Left No Marks.
