"Untitled Love"
This is a poem to my Mom
Whom I've loved for 17 years
Whose heart knows no fears
And has served as a home for kindness
I have not always noticed this
Please, forgive my blindness
I still remain speechless
For her strength is great
Although her eyes can only warmly pierce my shoulders
And her voice is noticed at any distance
Please, forgive my empty mindedness
I've lived in an absent-minded bliss
Your brown eyes
Your brown hair
Your brown skin
Your truthful lies
Your hand so fair
This is for my mother
And oh how I love her dearly
There are so many years
To love you again.
