I lay, thinking of you
Wondering if you’re fast asleep, dreaming of pretty things
Or maybe you’re wide awake, sitting in your dark kitchen with a glass of white milk
Realistically musing the elements of life.
You’ve conquered large portions of my reveries
They’re filled with your voice, your eyes, your laugh, your face
I ponder if I’ve taken as many of yours.
