Pit Bull Puppy

Oh, puppy sitting there
wagging your little brown tail
too bad for you so many pass you by
thinking your mean and should die
Afraid because of your breed
of what they hear about it in the news and on TV
But I know you're safe here
and one of these days you'll find someone to love you
that won't be afraid of you
that won't believe whats on TV
and will strive to make you the best Pit Bull you can be!

I hope this poem makes people think before they say something bad about a breed they know nothing about. A breed that needs a chance to prove how great it truly is.
