Run.
The wolf bounds through the forest
Tail lashing behind him
Sharp teeth bared

Growl.
A sharp growl
Ripped from his throat
Spreading through

Pound.
The wolf’s heavy paws
Pounding on the dry, frost ground
Pulling him farther in

Light.
Moonlight shining
On the wolf’s silver fur
Casting tall, dark shadows

Scratch.
Hard muscles rippled as the wolf ran
Skeletal tree branches tore at his fur
Scratching, scraping, tearing

Howl.
The wolf paused
Rearing back his head
His eerie howl filling the barren forest

The wolf pounded on, tore on, soared on
The wolf ran on

I had to write a descriptive paragraph, and turned it into this poem
