Hello World
Hello world,
How’re you doing?
Is all this spinning getting to you?
Do you feel dizzy
Watching all the clouds
Lose themselves in your skies?
Hello world,
How’s it going?
Six billion years is quite a time
For knowing all there is to know
Don’t you every wonder
About the billions to go?
Hello world,
Why so blue?
You mean the world to me
You’re the only planet
With all this beauty
In everything I can see
Hello world,
Is it lonely
Out in the solar system?
Just another blink of light
Swimming in the Milky Way
Across some other planet’s night
Hello world,
Don’t you listen
To whatever people have to say
Just keep on changing
Keep on turning
We won’t be here long anyway
Goodbye world,
Please don’t miss me
Give my regards to the moon
I’m off across the galaxy
Not sure when I’ll be back
But hopefully I’ll see you soon
