The World That Never Was (Revisited)
There is world I’m condemned to haunt,
A world of faceless crowds and nameless people.
Days pass by like strangers at a memorial service,
Briefly and without more reason that just because.
Its a place where everything that never will,
Or was, has come to be.
People who might've been but weren't.
Places that might've been but aren't.
Things that might've been but haven't.
Everything exists the way it never would.
This is a twisted world where no one has an identity,
Just a meaningless existence.
A warped world without a purpose.
A world that never was.
