My Window
Sneak in through my window
Your car is out of sight
You crawl under my covers
Under cover of the night
You lay down and pull me closer
And I don’t put up a fight
For hours we lay together
Don’t you think that it feels right?
I turn around and face you
Our foreheads pressing tight
Just a few more seconds
A fire’s likely to ignite
Hands are skimming and brushing the pages
That we take time to write
Hands are skimming and brushing each other
As we lay in bed tonight
You lean in and ask to kiss me
Because you’re just that polite
And I say “Catch me if you can!”
Screeching in delight
But you pull the blankets away
My brave and charming knight
And we kiss until daybreak
When the sun begins to bite
I feel like ten more hours of this
Would be quite alright
But not every hour can be this way,
and not every star as bright.
