Make Me Believe
Say it again.
Tell me how much you love me.
Tell me everything you want to
Do for me,
Do with me,
Do to me.
Tell me where our mansion will be,
And what we’ll see from the view of our newly remodeled balcony.
Tell me the kind of sports car I’ll drive
To pick up our little angels from the nanny.
Tell me we can spend eternity together.
Make me fall for it~
Make me fall for you.
Make me believe we can live in bliss,
That this isn’t how it has to be.
Tell me this is just how it seems.
We dream about designer clothes,
Exotic wines, and
Canopy beds, but instead
We wake up daily to
Sinking cheeks,
A roof full of leaks,
Kids fed only stale bread for weeks.
We’ve loved each other until our hearts have bled,
But now, whatever we had is dead.
And although I dread hearing your voice,
I want you to make me see the world I want to live in.
Make me believe I can break free from this reality.
Say it again.
Tell me how much you love me.
