Tales of a Broken Heart
Lost and Alone,
The guy she loves,
Loves another.
To find Hope
She goes to another,
just to get the same
pain.
I see her walking,
My dear old friend,
Helpless to make her happy.
The wounds through her heart,
The cuts on her skin,
Her lights are going dim.
When did it become like this?
Her old friend,
Abandoned her with a warning,
A hopeful heart never listens.
When he tore her heart to pieces,
She was left alone.
So she could go back with her ex,
A claimed psychopath,
Or she can wait for her old love,
Just to be torn apart again
And left for her best friend.
At home,
Her father doesn't understand,
probably never will.
Her brother doesn't care,
he has his own problems.
She can't get away,
She can't scream,
She can't hear,
the three words
she's ever wanted to hear.
For her, I fear.
I try to wipe away the tears,
but she wears a clever smile
like a croc of the Nile.
This is the Tale of a Broken heart
or at least the start
or a part.
I wish I could fix her broken heart.
