Shut up,
You’re only saying these sweet things,
Because it’s what you think I want to hear,
Well,
No matter what you think,
I’m not a normal girl,
So,
Get used to it,
I’m not like the rest
Sit down,
And take a lesson from the stars,
They’ll tell me who I am,
Yes,
They tell me things I need to hear,
Confirmation of my imperfection,
Because,
They’re unforgiving,
Twinkling mockingly
No,
Don’t put me down,
Just don’t lift me up,
Say,
That who I am is enough,
That I’m unique,
Don’t,
Conform me to the standard,
Of an average girl,
Because that I am not.
