It's no use
to lie to me.
I know you well enough
to see the truth in your eyes.
It's no use
to smile at me.
I know you well enough
to tell when you're in pain.
It's no use
to stick around.
I know you well enough
when you are no longer
interested.
So it's no use
to pretend,
to fake,
that you love me,
because you're only
hurting me more.
