Summers day

His presence like a summers day,
engulfed in his warmth as he grows near.
I hope that he will not fade away,
for when he is gone I’m full of fear.
My heart melts with his touch.
Just as an ice cream cone, when the sun light becomes too much.
His smile drives me in a craze,
like the suns strong, long rays.
His soft words leave me relaxed and cool,
which are similar to a summers pool.
His hugs keep me warm with they’re embrace
as does the sun on my face
Now here in the months of cold and ice,
I realize that his love has no price.
