Snowflakes in my Memories
They dance like falling angels,
Beautiful yet disturbing,
Memories flood my mind,
Constricting my lungs and breathing,
With power and deep passion they flutter past my eyes,
I wish upon each one like stars within the sky,
Numb in mind and body, as the day turns into night,
Like the roses in the snow hidden from my sight,
Oh those happy day that slipped away and the sad ones the do not,
Run like home-made films in my thoughts,
Now the night grows old and Mother Night must slumber,
Father Day will burn my skin if I stay and waunder,
So good day to all whoes minds will fade,
And good night to those who've stayed.
