Awoken
I lie in my bed
thinking of you
wishing you were here
wondering what you are doing
at this very moment
i feel you
feel the need to lie next to you
to touch your soft skin
in one instant
i saw the truth
you needed me like i needed you
you wished for me
wanted me
to touch my skin
to lie next to me
but still
I'm waiting
still awoken in my bed
dreaming of you
wanting you
light breaks through my open window
birds sing to the soft, sweet smell of the new fallen rain
dogs stretch for their little houses
big yawns fill the air
I'm still not moving
wishing to savor all the lust from my dream
hoping to
needing to
wishing to
just this once
