as I crouch
I stare down My prey,
I intimidate but He wont back down
He wants to fight; as do I

the tension lingers
who will make the first move? not I
yellow eyes shooting daggers
swiftly I dodge them easily
HIs muscles twitch
He pounces
I'm too quick and seis advantage

yellow eyes shooting daggers
as a growl rips through His throat
He tries to bite the nap of My neck
Mine hairless and elegant
His hairy and comfort

Me a woman and He a wolf
He stops as realization hits
I a friend, no more then that
I His sister.
