And So The Beautiful Girl Cried
Sitting in silence, waiting
Hoping, wishing-waiting
The silence screams around her
And she starts losing her hope
As she looks at him
With wide blue eyes
And he sits-still
Unmoving, silent-still
She apologizes, she cries
And sits he, still
Upon the bed-wordless
She tells him three words
And three words alone
As tears stream down
Her beautiful face;
Yet quiet he stays
And still he remains
Wordlessly watching
Silent, still-watching
And her tears fall
As she sits-crying
Lonely, broken-crying
