in the dark
He is here
In the dark
When I sleep
I know he is there
He watches
In the shadows
While I breathe
In and out
He knows I know
He can tell by my thoughts
He hears them clear
They scream with fear
He looks
In the dark
With those eyes
Yellowish-green
The light scares him
He is weak
He doesn’t like it
He is a coward
It is morning
He has left his smell
The smell of rain
After it has finished
The smell gives a taste
The taste of an apple
After being bruised
And browned
So he waits
For the sleep
To become heavy
He hunts me in the dark- in my room.
