Daisies
She stares,
Unblinking,
Into the distance.
"Time of death?"
No response.
He turns,
Demanding an answer.
"12:05"
It's just so sad,
So tragic.
She was
So young.
So precious.
So alive
With pink cheeks,
Cute dimples
So sweet
So innocent.
But now she stares,
Unblinking,
Into the distance.
Her eyes are closed for her
And she looks so pretty.
She could almost be sleeping
With pink cheeks,
Cute dimples.
With daisies in her hair
And a knife at her side.
