I can sit on my knees and pray, it’s an easy task

it should be an easy task

You are all I’ve ever wanted

You are all I want to believe in so why can’t I?

What do you do when you seen them all embrace knowing that that will never be you

You will never be them

How do you cry alone in the pink bathroom stalls?

How do you muffle your sobs

How can I quiet the tears that threaten to spill?

How is it possible to shrink into nothing

Here too I am yet again finding myself alone

Watching them pass by

Talking to the stone statue I will never get to know

Why do I bother with words I know you will forget?

Why should I bother with correcting you if you don’t take the time to remember my name

Coraline

Serena

Cecelia

Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong all wrong

Can you even see me at this point?

Do I actually exist to you?

I’m not a stupid side character I’m a person too

I’m not sitting on this bench for a dramatic movie scene I just don’t know what else to do

Walking back holding your empty styrofoam cup

How do you perceive me?

I clap when you clap

If you whisper I will finish it

But when it is just me and my bed I wish I never go back
