Tumbling
It falls
By mistake.
A heart
Beats
Erratic, Crude
on repeat.
The clock Ticks
Stuffing moments
While it's numbers
Bleed into infinity.
A soft inhale
Lighting sharp
I ask, " Why? "
The empty room
Mocks the quiet
Millions of gasps
Released into a pillow
Stuffed
with tears.
The head hits the wall
Hollowness echoes
Silence consoles.
