End of Her World
October 6th 2021
Leaves turning from chestnut brown
To a burnt orange
Crispy to the touch
Falling from the cedar brush branches
Her pale body just sat- numb
Memories flooded around
Reminder
The tenderness- a brick wall
Or just a fleeting thought
Autumn wind blows east and west
North and south
Taking her numbness
Leaving behind a new beginning
In the fragile october air
Leaf falls
Reminds her of change
Coldness of broken love
End her world above

I made this piece so others can relate to the girl in this poem and understand of what she has gone through.
