Isn’t it funny…

How we harm the place

That we so-called live in

And then pretend to fix everything

By giving people more material

And promoting their greed,

And pride,

And anger,

And lust?

Wonder why guys name their cars?

Because they unconsciously know

That the world is ending

Because of them

And they want to preserve all the joy

That they had with the machine.

But isn’t that funny?

Calling a car ‘Sally’ won’t fix the world

And it certainly won’t stop us from destroying it,

Whether you like it or not.

Because it’s just a man made thing.

We made it.

Like plastic,

And factories,

And gas,

And everything else

That is broken

That we don’t want to fix

Because we just can’t ‘live without it’.

Much like guys

And their precious ‘Sally’.
