Night of Murder
Ten o'clock at night with
Nine stars left in the sky.
Eight people slam their front doors shut as
Seven trees have no choice but to watch the
Six police cars that pulled up near the Smith's residence.
Five of the cops slowly approach the sidewalk with
Four of them holding out a gun for protection of the unknown.
Three of the street lamps suddenly flickered.
Two bloody stab marks were revealed on the boy's chest that was made by
One...silver...knife.
