I used to not be able to sleep at night

I used to not take care of myself

I used to only have Courtney

I used to push others away

I used to lose people over protecting my peace

I used to be depressed

I am now older

I am now taller

I am now 17

I am now a varsity hockey player

I now care what people think of me

I now can sleep all the time

I now have amazing friends

I now take care of myself

I now have Courtney and so much more

I now keep good people close

I now have people who understand

I now am finally happy.
