Past-Self
Today may look hard but believe me, we go far
We escape from the hell we are trapped in and exist to be loved not to be hurt
The monster that haunts our dreams ceases to be known
We are angry for a while and we have to learn how to live with it
We are still enveloped in fear as we move away from the traumas
We fight daily to not become the monster we fear the most
At the end of the day, we aren't alone
No more cowering in the closet
we wear our emotions freely and let them flow like a faucet
Days are worse than others but it feels better than being hurt by someone whos supposed to be a mother
