Oh, life is not pointless little one.
It’s just there, to be taken control of,
To be used.
Life is here for us and our purposes.
Why waste it?
What about the dogs that need to be pet
The frogs that need to be caught
The marshmallows that need to be roasted
The laughs needed to be shared
The songs needed to be heard
The sunsets needed to be seen
The smiles needed to be caused
Oh, all the fun that could be had.
The trees in need to smelling
The books in need of reading
The thoughts in need of thinking
The memories in need of making
The life that needs to be lived.
Alls not lost
It’s all right here,
Right here to be enjoyed.
So I’ll see you in the morning little one?
