Something that fulfills my expectations,

Not to exceed but maybe just meet.

Satisfaction is a feeling.

One that is very common in the average person.

It’s like that same person that walks around your neighborhood,

To the point where you almost expect them.

It’s like having a subject to choose from in class,

And that one person just takes the best one.

The whole class is let down because everyone wants that subject.

Satisfaction is the second-best option,

The one people settle for,

Because we all know only one person will get the best option.

But, every once in a while,

You might be the person to get the best.

And you are completely stoked that you have the best,

While almost everyone else gets the decent one.

The best option is happiness.
