Can't Work

I walk outside in the morning through the cool winter air
The snow is falling and it's frosty
Just so I can start my truck to go work
I insert the key and give it a turn, it stays silent
I give it a turn once more, but it just won't start.
My battery had died much like me while I work
I pop the hood and jump my truck
It turns over.....
But something's not right
I look at my dash and gasped
It was lit up like the Fourth of July sky
My engine light was flashing
The brake light is on
My oil is low
And my engine overheats
With my radiator cracked
My coolant leaks
And my heat blows cold
The transmission is gone
And the radio plays static
I can’t make it to work
Because my truck won’t go
I’ll have to call in once more this week
My check will be short
I will be broke the same as my truck
Now I’ll have to finance a brand new truck.
