The velvet roses shifting in the summer breeze,

the demonic waves crashing upon the shoreline.

This felt like deja vu.

Yes, I had been here before.

The nimbus clouds covering up the aqua sky,

the luminous night, relaxing as it is awesome.

There was no doubt about it.

As I turned back, totally bamboozled, I realized.

This is home, my home.

This is my mind.

This is what I imagine.

These are my dreams.

I'm always daydreaming or thinking about my dreams, and I think this piece really puts that into play.

I read the title and was waiting for the ominous/evil twist but the ending is so sweet. If you have gotten your dream home I'm a happy for you, if you haven't I sincerely hope that you do!
